Vehicle Description
Slip into this black 2004 Saleen S281 coupe and you’ll quickly remember why a manual V8 car still feels like the main event. Up front sits a 4.6L SOHC 16-valve gasoline V8, sending power to the rear wheels for that classic RWD, driver-first vibe—helped along by traction control, ABS brakes, and a limited-slip differential when the road gets interesting.
Inside, the gray leather cabin keeps things sporty but comfortable, with a multi-adjustable power driver seat and front power lumbar support ready for long cruises or quick backroad sprints. Cold day? Hit the air conditioning or clear things up fast with the rear window defogger. Need easy daily livability? Power windows, power door locks, and keyless entry make hopping in and heading out effortless, while power adjustable exterior mirrors and interval wipers help you stay dialed in when the weather won’t cooperate.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel brings the fun to your fingertips with steering wheel mounted controls, plus tilt steering and a tachometer that practically begs you to row through the gears. Your soundtrack is covered with an AM/FM radio, CD player, and CD changer.
Outside, fog lights, a front air dam, rear spoiler, and alloy wheels give this Saleen the kind of presence that looks fast even standing still—because it is. Safety touches like driver and passenger airbags, a vehicle anti-theft system, and a trunk anti-trap device round out the package.
